CAAW strives to promote Chinese culture through various events offerings, often in conjunction with related cultural groups and/or the Watertown Free Public Libraries.
Currently the team is preparing our first ever dragon boat team for the race at the Boston Dragon Boat Festival! Come cheer on the CAAW Night Herons on Sunday, June 8th!

Paper Zongzi Making
Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival (端午節) with making paper zongzi decorations. Zongzi is a traditional Chinese rice dish made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves. We used paper to make representative zongzi and shared how zongzi is related to the Dragon Boat Festival.
