Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Painting
We had a successful second year of lantern painting! A repeat of our first ever event, we had a wonderful night getting our hands dirty and making some lanterns for the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival. No artistic skills necessary and our participants created some great lanterns!
Learn Chinese Mahjong Series: Introduction to Taiwanese Mahjong
For our very first Learn Chinese Mahjong Series event, we taught an introduction to Taiwanese Mahjong! Everyone picked it up pretty quickly and were asking for more, so we will be doing another one before the end of the year!
Boston Dragon Boat Festival

Paper Zongzi Making
Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival (端午節) with making paper zongzi decorations. Zongzi is a traditional Chinese rice dish made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves. We used paper to make representative zongzi and shared how zongzi is related to the Dragon Boat Festival.
