CAAW is looking into partnering with the Watertown Free Public Libraries to teach the community how to play Chinese Mahjong (144 tile set with flowers)!
There are various different styles, and current members of CAAW are knowledgeable on Taiwanese style (16-tile base, 17 to win), Hong Kong style (13-tile base, 14 to win), and Dongbei style (a variant of traditional Chinese style with 13-tile base, 14 to win).
This is not the American style Mahjong that has 160+ tiles with jokers.
